Precision Resource seeks an experienced Compliance Coordinator to join our well-established organization supporting well established state-of-the-art facilities. We are a leading global supplier of precision metal components and assemblies, with concentrated focus in the areas of fineblanking and finish machining.
The Compliance Coordinator is responsible for managing, maintaining, and facilitating compliance to certified standards; IATF16949 (automotive industry), ISO14001 (environmental), and general safety compliance with Federal, State, and local regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
This position involves periodic travel to other company sites, to assist in preparation for and support of annual recertification audits. Initially the position will support the company’s Kentucky and Illinois sites and candidates can be located at either site.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Maintain and continually improve the company’s management systems to ensure ongoing compliance with the IATF16949 and ISO14001 standards
- Oversee records for customer specific requirements
- Oversee waste stream management activities, including communication with outside collection services
- Oversee storm water testing and reporting
- Provide coaching / training. Maintain training records
- Provide support to plant leadership in addressing EHS related issues
- Monitor infrastructure and processes for compliance. Identify potential risks or hazards
- Ensure timely accurate reporting to regulatory agencies
- Maintain documentation, including safety data sheets
- Oversee layered process audit system
- Assist in leading investigations related to work related injuries and incidents
- Work with company associates to train and ensure compliance in activities including but not limited to layered process audits, Tier II reporting, and annual recertification audits
- Other duties as assigned
- Annual Bonus based on Division profitability

Position Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience working with IATF 16949 / ISO 14001 standards
- Experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, preferably automotive
- Strong knowledge of the latest Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG) tools and techniques
- IATF 16949 & ISO 14001 Lead Auditor Certifications
- OSHA training regarding operations of a manufacturing plant
- Must be familiar with machining, tooling, analytical troubleshooting, and project management processes
