The successful candidate will be responsible for managing existing customer relationships, developing new sales opportunities, and implementing strategies to facilitate business growth. Key responsibilities include negotiating pricing and commercial/contract issues, working with outside sales teams to identify and penetrate new customers, and presenting important proposals to clients.
To excel in this role, you should possess strong leadership, planning, and management skills, with a proven track record in sales and marketing. An undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering or MBA is a plus, along with 5 years of experience in a sales role for a metal stamping or forming company. Strong computer skills and proficiency in project management and problem-solving are also essential.
