Summary
The Inside Sales Associate will support day-to-day commercial/sales needs, routine communication with customers, customer service matters and facilitate internal activities to support existing and new business development. The successful candidate will be committed to the highest level of integrity, trust and responsibility; bring a hands-on approach to day to day operations, and exhibit strong leadership, planning and management skills.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day customer needs.
- Provide support to direct/outside Sales representatives.
- Assist in preparing timely, professional response to customer requests.
- Facilitate internal response to customer needs, keeping the organization on-track in meeting the customer's expectations.
- Pursue outside quotes with sub-suppliers.
- Manage information/record filing.
- Assist with customer contract reviews and looking after timely submission of formal order acknowledgements.
- Collect and analyze forecasts.
- Manage activity with customer portals.
Qualifications, Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field is preferred.
- Prior inside sales/commercial support experience is preferred.
- One to three years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
- Automotive industry experience is a plus.
