Position:
We are seeking a skilled and creative Industrial Graphic Designer to design, visualize, and modify texture patterns that meet customer specifications. This role involves utilizing current graphic design software, computer-aided equipment, and 3D rendering tools to create designs that meet the highest standards. The ideal candidate will work closely with customers, sales, engineering, and engravers to evaluate design concepts and contribute fresh ideas to the market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safety First: Promote a safe working environment by using machine safety and personal protection equipment. Demonstrate compliance with safety procedures and OSHA guidelines.
• Creative Design: Generate and develop innovative design ideas. Create and modify design files for production engraving processes based on customer specifications using current design software and tools.
• Adapt and Refine: Modify existing designs to accommodate customer changes or evolving design trends. Ensure designs are aesthetically appealing and meet quality standards.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, sales, and customers to establish design concepts and suggest improvements.
• Customer Interaction: Present designs and samples to customers for final approval, ensuring satisfaction with the outcome.
• Documentation: Maintain an organized archive of images and graphics from previous work products for future reference.
• Stay Current: Stay abreast of industry advancements, exploring new technologies to bring innovative ideas to market.
• Timely Execution: Complete tasks within designated timeframes, ensuring efficient workflow and project completion.
• Housekeeping: Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with company standards.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in initiatives aimed at improving processes and efficiencies across the organization.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Creative flair with a keen eye for detail, and a solid understanding of design principles, tools, and techniques specific to precision graphics production.
• Constant Collaborate on plant floor with engravers to problem-solve.
• Strong command of graphic design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD) and experience with 3D rendering tools.
• Experience in color separation and 3D rendering is a plus.
• Effective communication skills, including active listening, reading, writing, and interpersonal skills.
• Problem-solving and customer service orientation, with the ability to manage relationships and resolve issues.
• Strong analytical thinking and the ability to use logic and reasoning to meet design needs and product requirements.
• Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization abilities to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Critical thinking and decision-making skills, with a focus on follow-through and time management.
• At least 2 years of experience in a production environment.
