The selected candidate will be responsible for conducting mammography exams, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
You will possess a strong background in radiologic technology, including experience with digital mammography and tomosynthesis. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also essential, enabling you to build strong relationships with patients, colleagues, and management.
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in mammography is required, along with ARRT(R) certification and additional mammography certification (ARRT(M)) where applicable. State licensure may also be necessary. Moreover, you must meet MQSA guidelines, which include initial training in mammography, performance of at least 200 mammograms in the last 24 months, and completion of continuing education requirements.
