**Per Diem Mammography Technologist Needed at Precision Scans Inc.**
Job Summary:
The per diem mammography technologist will perform high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures to ensure the best patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate digital mammography equipment and perform various imaging exams, including 2D and 3D mammograms.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and exam results.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and quality patient care.
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Radiologic Technology or related field.
- ARRT(R) certification with additional mammography certification (ARRT(M)) required. State licensure where applicable.
- MQSA Compliance: Must meet MQSA guidelines, including having 40 hours of initial training in mammography, performing at least 200 mammograms in the last 24 months, and completing the required continuing education (15 CE credits in 36 months).
- BLS/CPR Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in mammography, including digital mammography and tomosynthesis.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs) and practice management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to maintain a safe and healthy environment for patients and staff, adhering to all safety protocols and regulations.
