What are the responsibilities and job description for the Unarmed Security Officer position at Precision Security Agency?
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure the safety and security of all individuals and property
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems to identify any suspicious activity
- Respond promptly to any security incidents or emergencies, following established protocols
- Enforce access control procedures, verifying the identity of individuals and ensuring only authorized personnel enter restricted areas
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries or concerns
- Write detailed incident reports documenting any security-related incidents or observations
- Collaborate with local law enforcement agencies when necessary
Experience:
- Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred
- Possession of a valid security officer certificate is a plus
- Knowledge of conflict management techniques and the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally
- Familiarity with surveillance systems, including CCTV monitoring and operation
- Understanding of loss prevention strategies and techniques to minimize theft or damage to property
