As a Site Supervisor at Precision Security Team, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for the public at your assigned location. We are in search of a qualified professional for a Security Site Supervisor. The ideal candidate for this position would have experience in customer service, conflict intervention, and security or military service. Firearm experience is an imperative aspect of this position, so previous experience is required. This position would be working Monday through Friday 6:00 am to 10:00 am at the client site, and the other 20 hours would be worked at our office in Fort Collins. The supervisor also covers shifts in the event a security officer calls out.
This position is in charge of four sites in the following municipalities: Greeley, Windsor, Loveland, and Fort Lupton. You would be expected to travel between these sites often, sometimes once per day per site.
Critical Roles of the Position:
Supervision:
- Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to security personnel, ensuring they are properly trained, motivated, and equipped to perform their duties effectively. Lead by example and promote a positive work environment conducive to teamwork and collaboration.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of multiple security sites, ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess performance, address concerns, and provide support to on-site supervisors and security personnel.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their security needs and develop customized solutions to meet their requirements effectively.
Staffing and Deployment:
- Coordinate the recruitment, selection, and training of security personnel for assigned sites, ensuring compliance with licensing and certification requirements.
- Develop and maintain staffing schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all sites, taking into account varying operational demands and resource availability.
- Implement efficient deployment strategies to optimize manpower utilization and respond promptly to emergent security situations.
Training and Development:
- Implement comprehensive training programs for security personnel, covering a range of topics including security procedures, emergency response protocols, and conflict resolution techniques.
- Schedule regular training sessions and drills to enhance the skills and preparedness of security teams, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Ensures security personnel attend required training as per company policy.
Performance and Risk Management:
- Provide regular feedback, coaching, and performance evaluations to on-site supervisors and security staff, recognizing achievements and addressing performance issues in a timely manner.
- Manage resources effectively, including staffing levels, equipment, and budget allocation
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, industry standards, and contractual obligations, maintaining accurate records and documentation as needed.
- Identify potential security risks and vulnerabilities at assigned sites, develop mitigation strategies, and implement proactive measures to enhance security and minimize threats.
Client Relations:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, concerns, and feedback.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with clients by addressing their security needs in a timely and professional manner while delivering exceptional service.
- Collaborate with clients to conduct investigations, resolve security incidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
Precision Security Team or the client can assign other duties as necessary.
Mandatory Qualifications:
Professional Firearms Experience: Demonstrated experience in the safe handling and operation of firearms, including proficiency in marksmanship, safety protocols, and weapon retention. Experience should reflect training or previous roles where the responsible use of firearms was required, such as law enforcement, military service, or certified security positions.
Professionalism and Reliability: Seeking a candidate who demonstrates strong organizational skills, a dependable work ethic, and the ability to maintain a stable and professional approach to responsibilities both on and off the job.
Adherence to Professional Grooming Standards: Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance at all times, in accordance with company guidelines. This includes proper uniform wear, grooming, and presentation to reflect a high standard of professionalism when interacting with clients, school staff, and students.
Pre-Employment Drug Screen: Successfully complete and pass a pre-employment drug screening as part of the hiring process, in compliance with company policies and local regulations.
Ability to Obtain Necessary Security License: Must be eligible and able to acquire necessary security guard licenses for the City of Greeley. This includes meeting local regulations and completing any required training or testing to fulfill licensure requirements.

Pay: This W2 position pays $26.50/hour. Employees who work 30 or more hours a week are eligible for health benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life, accident, and hospital indemnity insurance. PST adheres to a hands-off approach whenever possible, prioritizing verbal de-escalation and conflict resolution techniques. The only instance where physical intervention is appropriate is if an individual poses an immediate physical threat to themselves, others, or you.
