As an Unarmed Security Officer at Precision Security Team, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for the public at your assigned location. Your responsibilities will include addressing security concerns and handling requests as needed to ensure the safety and satisfaction of clients and the community.

As a member of our team, you are expected to embody and demonstrate Precision Security Team’s core values and code of conduct in all aspects of your work.

Your schedule would be 10 : 00 pm-6 : 00 am Wednesday, 2 : 00 pm-10 : 00 pm Thursday and Friday, and 6 : 00 am-6 : 00 pm Sunday for a total of 36 hours. Please do not apply if this does not work with your availability.

Critical Roles of the Position :

• Monitor and Analyze Surveillance Systems : Utilize advanced camera systems and alarm monitoring software to observe and analyze real-time activity across the facility. Promptly identify and assess any irregularities or potential security breaches.
• Investigate and Respond to Security Incidents : Conduct thorough investigations into suspected breaches or disturbances, adhering to the site's Standard Operating Procedures (SOP). Implement swift and effective responses to ensure the safety and security of personnel, property, and information.
• Perform Comprehensive Patrols : Conduct routine and random patrols of the facility, either on foot or in a designated marked security vehicle, to deter unauthorized access and detect unusual activity. Adapt patrol methods based on the specific requirements of the location.
• Control Access to the Facility : Enforce site access protocols by verifying identities and permissions. Approve or deny entry based on established SOPs, ensuring the integrity of secured areas.
• Safeguard Confidential Information : Protect the confidentiality of sensitive information, including site technology, media, equipment, procedures, and protocols. Maintain a strict commitment to discretion and integrity to uphold the client's trust.

Pay : This W2 position pays $23.65 / hour. Employees who work 30 or more hours a week are eligible for health benefits such as medical, dental, vision, life, accident, and hospital indemnity insurance. Hiring Process : Assessments will be scored based on answering the question, and proper use of grammar and written communication. Please do not write "see resume" or "can be discussed during the interview" as your answer. We are looking for answers with specific examples and / or thorough, multiple sentence answers to the questions.

Following a successful phone screen, we will invite you to an in-person interview with the hiring manager and other relevant management team members.

The STAR technique is a structured method used to answer behavioral interview questions by clearly outlining a Situation, Task, Action, and Result. This approach helps candidates provide comprehensive and well-organized responses that showcase their skills and experiences effectively, and helps candidates provide answers that are coherent, concise, and impactful, making it easier for interviewers to assess their competencies and fit for the role. Should you advance past this stage, a job offer will be extended to you. After the offer is accepted, we conduct a background check and proceed with online onboarding.

PST adheres to a hands-off approach whenever possible, prioritizing verbal de-escalation and conflict resolution techniques. The only instance where physical intervention is appropriate is if an individual poses an immediate physical threat to themselves, others, or you. Acceptable physical intervention techniques will be taught during our mandatory Phase I training.

Employment with Precision Security Team is "at-will," meaning that either the employee or the company may terminate the employment relationship at any time, with or without cause or notice, as permitted by Colorado law. This at-will employment relationship cannot be altered or modified except by a written agreement signed by both the employee and an authorized representative of the company.

All knowledge about a site's staff, customers, products, events, procedures, facilities, etc. must remain confidential. Any improper public or personal disclosure will result in discipline up to and including termination.
