What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities and Preventative Maintenance Supervisor position at Precision Sensors?
We are seeking a qualified candidate to perform the following tasks and all other duties as assigned:
- Ability to successfully perform and oversee all maintenance processes while working independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to use the tools and equipment required to perform all indoor and outdoor maintenance requirements.
- Skills gained through a trade or proven work experience such as plumbing, carpentry, to perform general repairs/installs/take downs as needed.
- Ability to work with Excel and other data base platforms.
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to organize daily, weekly, monthly and yearly scheduled maintenance to be completed on time.
- Ability to follow oral and written English instructions, and basic reading, writing and math. An Associates Degree or education in a trade or related skill is preferred; and/or proven hands on experience in a similar role.
- Willingness to work in a team based environment and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
- Support employee and team participation in company-wide continuous improvement, practice reliable methods and utilize the 5S’s to eliminate non-value added costs.
Typical Responsibilities:
· Perform and/or oversee the maintenance of floors, walls, sink and countertop areas, bathrooms, office areas, entrance ways, etc.
· Replace or clean filters, light bulbs and other perishable items as required or scheduled.
· Maintain grounds and parking lot, year round.
· Perform and/or oversee the collection of garbage and recyclable materials.
· Perform and/or oversee the general maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment in accordance with the PMP.
· Revise, Update, and maintain PMR and Precision Sensors Maintenance Plan as needed.
Pick up product and supplies from vendors and other facilities/stores as needed.
· Requisition supplies, general and factory, as needed to maintain an acceptable working inventory of necessary materials
· Unload shipping materials, flammable supplies and other equipment from trucks.
· Assemble and install new furniture and equipment.
· Authority and responsibility to initiate action to prevent nonconformity, identify and record all problems relating to the product, process, and quality system, initiate or recommend solutions, verify the effectiveness of the solutions and control further processing or delivery of the nonconformance until it has been resolved.
· Maintain and document hazardous waste collection and storage.
Maintain safe working environment by following company safety procedures and participate in safety committee projects as needed.
Ability to lift, push or pull up to 50 lbs.
