Job Title: Fabricator
POSITION OVERVIEW:
We are seeking a Fabricator to join our team. Reporting to the Production Manager, the Fabricator is responsible for using various machinery and hand tools to cut, shape, and prepare raw materials such as metal, plastic, and wood for further production.
The primary goal of this position is to fulfill work orders accurately and efficiently while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
This role is on site - primarily in a manufacturing environment. Hours will be Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM. There will be some exposure to noise, dust - appropriate protective equipment is provided. Occasional overtime or weekend work may be available to meet production deadlines

- Accurately read shop drawings to determine material requirements and fabrication steps
- Operate a wide range of tools, ensuring all are used effectively and maintained properly
- Take precise measurements up to 1/64" to ensure accuracy in fabrication processes
- Identify various materials such as acrylics and metal alloys for application and processing
- Fabricate and assemble components according to specs, ensuring quality and accuracy
- Contribute to complex assembly tasks as needed and assist other team members
- Prepare and cut materials for distribution to other departments, ensuring minimal waste
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality
- High school diploma or equivalent, relevant college degree is a plus
- Proven experience as a fabricator or in a similar role in manufacturing
- Experience reading and interpreting technical documents and shop drawings
- Skilled in the use of various hand and power tools
- Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to problem-solve and adapt to changing work demands
- Commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
- Ability to stand, bend, climb, and walk for extended periods
