What you'll do:
- Collaborate with engineers to create shop drawings for client review and for use on-site
- With Engineers, determine cost estimates for new projects calculating time/materials
- Ensure digital image quality, including resolution, color accuracy, contrast, and proper file preparation for different output processes
- Prepare production ready files that align with requirements for our digital printing, direct printing, laser cutting, vinyl graphics, and fabrication
- Review artwork for accuracy within brand guidelines, client specs, and other constraints
- Anticipate production needs, make design adjustments to minimize delays and issues
- Ensure color consistency across various materials and processes
- Work with variable data and template setups to streamline large-scale signage projects
- Maintain digital assets, ensuring easy retrieval and version control for teams
- Communicate with teams and vendors to ensure smooth transitions from design to production
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a graphic-related industry signage, printing, graphic design)
- Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field or equivalent experience preferred
- Graphics software background required. Adobe Illustrator, CorelDraw and Photoshop experience
- Expertise in layout, typography, color theory, and digital image processing
- Previous work with digital printing, direct printing, laser cutting, and vinyl graphics
- Ability to create shop drawings in collaboration with engineers for client review and production
- Previous Sign industry experience is a plus
- Experience manipulating data in Microsoft Excel for merging data with graphic templates
