Field Calibration Technician, Level I
Precision Solutions is a growing ISO/IEC 17025 Accredited industrial services company seeking a full-time Field Calibration Technician to service the Eastern PA and New Jersey region.

This introductory Field Calibration Technician role is well-suited for a hands-on and detail-oriented individual with aspirations of building a career in industrial services. Calibration Technicians perform calibrations, repairs, and installations of weighing equipment ranging from high precision balances at pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities to outdoor truck scales at concrete manufacturing facilities.

Essential Functions
Develop Core Understanding of Calibration and Repair Services
Shadow senior technicians and the service manager in the field
Attend internal and vendor introductory training sessions
Assist with calibrations and repairs in tandem with senior technicians
Metrology Technician: Scales, Balances, and Mass
Calibrate scales and balances. Customer job sites range from clean-room, laboratory environments to outdoor, industrial manufacturing environments.
Repair scales and balances. Repairs require both mechanical and electrical repair skills and specific knowledge of scale and balance technologies.
Perform installations of equipment sold by Precision Solutions including scales, balances, industrial printers, and associated equipment.
Perform test weight and mass calibrations at Precision Solutions onsite laboratory.
Perform emergency scale and balance repairs as needed which may include nights and weekends.
Be a Provider of Best-in-Class Services
Enter data into Precision Solutions service order software in a timely and accurate manner.
Learn about and maintain proficiency in the technical aspects of our products and services as well as related regulations, safety procedures, and industry best-practices.
Perform all duties in conformance to Precision Solutions quality system
Attend training sessions or other meetings and conferences offered by Precision Solutions, ATS, our vendors, and others.
Maintain Positive and Productive Relationships
Sustain prompt correspondence with coworkers and customers via phone and email throughout the work day.
Maintain strong relationships with all customers through timely and accurate service execution, thorough communication, and a consistently professional demeanor.
Actively look for ways to grow Precision Solutions and ATS business while setting our customers up for success.

Job Requirements
Must be able to repeatedly lift 50 lb. and work in various customer environments
Maintain a valid and clean drivers license and driving record
Exceptional customer service and problem-solving capabilities
Comfortable with Microsoft Office including Outlook
Ability to learn custom software applications
Proficient in electronic and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and repairs
Must be able to pass a drug and background check
