Summary
At Precision Solutions, we are seeking a Cabling Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team in Washington, DC. This role requires an active Top-Secret Clearance and involves leading the structured network cabling design and installation practices, ensuring conformance to industry standards, and overseeing critical project tasks.
Responsibilities
- Meet with customer and contractor personnel to formulate and review task plans and deliverable items
- Ensure strict conformance to program task schedules and prices
- Lead the effort to secure and protect all government information and ensure the IDP meets all RFQ requirements
- Participate in all phases of the installation design plan with emphasis on planning, analysis, testing, integration, documentation, and presentation
- Interface with senior management and contribute to client negotiations, where decision-making and domain knowledge have a critical impact on overall project implementation
- Minimum of seven (7) years of experience in structured network cabling design and installation
- Minimum of five (5) years of documented CAD experience and CAD certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
- Experience in tracking and reporting project costs and schedules
- Must be building Industry Consulting Services International (BICSI) certified, and a Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD)
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; an active Top Secret clearance is required.
