Key responsibilities may include:
- Preventative maintenance:Regularly inspecting and servicing equipment according to established schedules to prevent breakdowns, including lubrication, cleaning, and filter replacements.
- Troubleshooting and repair:Diagnosing malfunctions in equipment, identifying root causes, and performing necessary repairs to mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Emergency response:Responding to urgent maintenance issues outside of regular working hours, including after-hours calls and weekend availability.
- Facility upkeep:Performing general maintenance tasks like light bulb replacements, minor carpentry repairs, and maintaining cleanliness of common areas.
- Documentation and reporting:Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities, including work orders, parts used, and inspection findings.
- Parts management:Ordering and managing inventory of replacement parts for equipment
- Compliance with safety standards:Adhering to safety protocols and ensuring equipment is maintained in a safe working condition
Required skills and qualifications:
- Technical knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, systems
