Responsibilities
As a Crew Chief, you are accountable for the actions and productivity of field crews. Key of maintaining a direct working relationship with crew members. Ability to direct and give instruction to subordinate members of crew and encourage our core values. Ability to look for and find noticeable mistakes in office calculations from staking results in the field. Working independently, being self-motivated and have good organizational and communication skills and ability to work directly with clients. These are just a few responsibilities that are being mentioned, but key components to this position.
Qualifications
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Valid Driver's License
High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
A minimum of 2-3 years' experience including topographic, construction staking, boundary, and data collection required.
Operate various survey equipment (GPS, Robotics and Total Stations)
Knowledgeable of tablet functions and ability to navigate thru said functions
Proven work history, strong work ethic, and team player attitude
Ability to perform physical labor (i.e. strenuous walking, and lifting catch basin grates/manhole covers, hauling equipment) and physically maneuver around construction sites, including accessing excavations, trenches, structures and other disturbed areas.
Capable of lifting and carrying 50 pounds
