Job Summary
The Technical Project Manager will oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of technical projects from initiation to completion. This role will involve coordinating project teams, managing resources, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Duties
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for flawless project execution
- Manage project scope, risks, issues, and changes
- Conduct regular project status meetings with stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with project management methodology and best practices
- Lead requirements gathering sessions and document detailed project requirements
- Oversee release management activities
- Implement disaster recovery plans as needed
Skills
- Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and reporting
- Strong negotiation skills to resolve conflicts and drive consensus among stakeholders
- Experience in software development lifecycle processes
- Excellent time management skills to meet project deadlines
- Familiarity with TFS (Team Foundation Server) for version control and collaboration
- Knowledge of various project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall)
- Ability to gather and analyze project requirements effectively
