Precision Valley Communications is a leading provider of engineering, mapping and design services for cable, telephony and utility customers. With headquarters in Springfield, Vermont, PVC also has an office location in Massachusetts. PVC's field services include the mapping and design of strand and as-built, as well as make-ready engineering and pole audits.
We are seeking experienced Fiber Designers with experience within the broadband industry to design and deliver fiber optic telecommunication designs that meet customer specifications. Applicants should have Bentley experience as well as a solid background in all phases of network design and have the ability to move between various software platforms as required.
Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to)
- Planning and designing RF and Fiber routes for HFC, FTTX, MDU and Metro-E.
- Research and evaluate various route options associated with any given project.
- Work with Project Managers and / or field personnel to ensure quality and timely delivery of our services.
- Develop and maintain strong positive relationships with employees, subcontractors and customers.
- Maintain project documentation and ensure product deliveries are accurate.
- Other duties as assigned.
