Preco is hiring a Mechanical Technician as a Full-Time job in Somerset, WI. Weekend Days.
As an Electro-Mechanical Technician I, you will install, maintain and troubleshoot Preco equipment. This includes laser, die press and rotary machines. You will also be responsible for maintaining the facilities infrastructure to ensure a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Determine and perform preventive maintenance to ensure that production machines continue to run smoothly.
- Inspect and perform maintenance on building systems to operate efficiently.
- Diagnose any mechanical problems and determine how to correct them.
- Maintain a computerized maintenance management software system for tracking maintenance activities and equipment history.
- Initiate and carry out projects that improve our efficiency and/or reduce costs.
- Provide technical support and guidance in determining work cell layout and the installation of new equipment.
- Prepare reports, analyze data, and make recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance-related problems.
- Support the development of department programs and procedures.
- Assist in obtaining quotes and arranging for services of outside vendors, as required.
- Manage inventory of spare parts for all equipment.
- Maintain clean, safe, and orderly work areas.
- Perform other tasks as required.
Job Qualifications:
- 2-year technical degree in electro-mechanical, laser technology or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in electrical, controls, PLC’s, and electromechanics.
- Knowledge of digital and high & low voltage electronics.
- Motivated individual who can work independently and with teams.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Proficient in communication and documentation skills.
- High proficiency in the following computer skills: MS Word, MS Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience with a maintenance software program.
