We are currently seeking Class A CDL Driver at our terminal in Bellefonte, PA that would be loading trailers and making an occasional delivery when the need arises. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Fully understand how to operate and safely drive your assigned vehicle
- Load and stage trailers at loading plant
- Make on time deliveries when need arises
- Communicate with dispatch as needed
- Pre-Trip and Post-Trip your vehicle
- Notify managers of any major maintenance or delivery issues encountered
- Follow load schedule for on time pick-ups
- Adhere to company rules and regulations
- Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive in according to the weather/road conditions
- Comply with DOT regulations
Requirements:
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) required
- Must be able to drive a manual
- 1 years verifiable experience in commercial truck driving preferred
- Decent driving record
- Must pass background check and drug test
- Have valid medical card
