Job Description:
Looking for a skilled Dynamics 365 Commerce (Retail) Technical Consultant with hands-on experience in customizing and integrating the Dynamics 365 Commerce platform, including Scale Unit configuration, Commerce SDK, and Retail APIs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customize and extend D365 Commerce (Retail) using Commerce SDK and Retail Server Extension models.
- Develop and maintain integrations using Commerce APIs and OData/RESTful services.
- Configure and deploy Scale Units for high availability and latency optimization in retail stores.
- Work with MPOS and CPOS customization and deployment strategies.
- Develop and maintain integrations with external systems like ERPs, payment gateways, tax engines, etc.
- Implement and manage extensions in Retail Cloud POS and Hardware Station.
- Troubleshoot issues related to Commerce runtime, channel DB, and Scale Unit sync.
- Collaborate with Functional and Infra teams for deployment and performance tuning.
Must-Have Skills:
- Strong experience with D365 Commerce (Retail) modules.
- Proficiency in Commerce SDK, Retail Proxy, and Commerce Runtime (CRT).
- Experience with Scale Unit deployment and Commerce Headquarters configuration.
- Hands-on experience with Commerce APIs, OData, .NET, and Azure DevOps pipelines.
- Ability to work with Retail POS customization (MPOS/CPOS).
- Experience in integrating payment systems, loyalty engines, tax services (like Avalara or BSI TaxFactory).
Preferred Skills:
- Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications
- Exposure to Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Dataverse
- Experience in working in Agile environments and using Azure DevOps or Jira
