Predicate Logic is looking for a motivated Cybersecurity Engineer II to join our team in San Diego, CA.

SECURITY CLEARANCE:
- Applicant must be eligible for a Department of Defense (DoD) personnel security clearance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare, implement, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity policy, to include Assessment and Authorization requirements.
- Plan, implement, upgrade and/or monitor cybersecurity measures to improve cyber defense and maintain a cyber-resilient network.
- Assess cybersecurity vulnerabilities for risks and propose and implement remediation actions or risk mitigation strategies.
- Ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure.
- Respond to computer security breaches to re-establish protections and make required reports.
- Oversee, evaluate and support the documentation, validation and accreditation processes necessary to ensure new and existing information technology (IT) systems meet the organization's information assurance (IA) and security requirements.
- Ensure appropriate treatment of risk, compliance and monitoring assurance from internal and external perspectives.
EXPERIENCE:
- Three (3) years of professional experience with cybersecurity engineering.
- Submarine Communications experience.
EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, or Electrical or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science or equivalent.
- Information Assurance Management (IAM) or Information Assurance Technical (IAT) or Information Assurance System Architect and Engineer (IASAE) Level I (position-based) per DoD 8750.1M.

Salary : $120,000 - $130,000
