Predicate Logic is looking for a motivated Junior Accounting Clerk to join our team.

Predicate Logic also has offices in Chesapeake, Virginia, specializing in communications engineering, training, and Cybersecurity, and Charleston, South Carolina, supporting the Navy and Marine Corps programs through the Naval Information Warfare Center Charleston.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare day-to-day accounting entries and assist in the monthly closing process.
- Perform posting to the General Ledger.
- Process and review timesheets and payroll transactions.
- Process accounts payable, travel expenses, and purchase order vouchers.
- Prepare information for state, local, and federal taxing authorities, or other government agencies as required.
- Assist with Human Resource administrative duties as assigned.
- Ensure all transactions are processed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Two (2) years of accounting/finance experience required with emphasis on billing and support of all billing related functions, or five (5) years of equivalent experience in lieu of a degree.
- Two (2) years of accounting experience within a federal government contracting environment required, with a working knowledge of Cost-Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Time and Material (T&M) and Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contractual requirements.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to effectively manage time to accomplish goals in a time-sensitive environment.
- Must be detail-oriented with excellent analytical problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and Adobe PDF required.
- Experience with Deltek Costpoint system preferred.
EDUCATION
- AA or Bachelor's Degree in accounting preferred

Salary : $43,000 - $55,000
