Predicate Logic is looking for a motivated Systems Engineer IV to join our team in Newport, RI.

SECURITY CLEARANCE:
- Applicant must be eligible for a Department of Defense (DoD) personnel security clearance.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for the planning, design, and evaluation of mission-critical, multi-level secure, Local Area Network (LAN) and Wide Area Network (WAN) systems.
- Conduct research to solve complex problems and provide input for future modernization efforts.
- Resolve difficult interoperability problems between integrated communications stations and production networks.
- May work in a lab environment to test system designs and provide test report feedback.
- Participate in Engineering reviews as required.
- Provide technical representation at meetings with senior staff as required in support of designated Operating Authority systems.
EXPERIENCE:
- Ten (10) years of professional experience in systems engineering.
- In-depth knowledge of network architectures and associated equipment including, but not limited to zones, screening devices, and typical design.
- Familiarity with direct attached and network-attached storage devices, protocols, and techniques to include iSCSI.
Understanding of Virtual Machines (VM) and knowledge of VM configurations. - The ability to rapidly conceptualize/understand systems architecture is necessary.
- Naval systems engineering technical reviews.
- Drafting Naval system engineering documents.
- Coordination of systems test and evaluation.
- Experience in enterprise architecture in establishing an organization's IT infrastructure, maintaining, and updating IT hardware, software, and services to ensure it supports established enterprise goals.
EDUCATION:
- Master's level degree or higher in an engineering discipline.

Salary : $135,000 - $145,000
