What are the responsibilities and job description for the Spray Technician position at PREDL, Inc?
Predl Inc. is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Spray Technician in our production division which focuses on the production of manhole liners by plastic welding and spraying resins. PREDL utilizes advanced systems in our spray production thus the right candidate must be willing and able to learn new processes, procedures and equipment. In this position, the applicant will play a vital role in the manufacturing process of our products using safe, efficient and reliable methods. The applicant will be required to perform various construction tasks that require the ability to analyze the situation and determine how best to move forward in a competent manner. The applicant should be proficient and well-versed with many hand tools, power tools, measurement devices, math and basic geometry. Tasks can/will vary daily as needs fluctuate therefore the applicant should be comfortable with change and performing a wide variety of tasks. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced production-based environment.
This is NOT a typical warehouse, assembly line production. Skilled applicants are needed!!!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assemble components of our product lines using our proprietary molding system.
- Prepare custom parts per customer specifications.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet our standards.
- Prepare products for shipping, including packaging, labeling, and completing necessary documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse, ensuring all equipment and materials are properly stored and maintained. This includes maintaining all spray equipment.
- Perform general warehouse duties, such as receiving and organizing inventory and conducting regular inventory counts.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, reporting any issues or concerns promptly.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in FRP production, spraying resins, or spraying insulation with a Graco Proportioner
- Strong working knowledge of power tools and saws
- Eagerness to learn and grow with our company.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to think independently and efficiently.
- Ability to lift 50lbs and operate warehouse equipment safely.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
