Job Summary
Preeminent is seeking a Quality Control Officer who is responsible for coordinating and overseeing security operations at their designated site, ensuring a safe and secure environment for personnel and property. This role involves implementing, enforcing, and ensuring compliance with security protocols and procedures. The officer will lead and supervise a team of security personnel, providing guidance and direction to ensure the effective execution of security operations. In addition, the officer will conduct regular site inspections to identify potential security risks, address any vulnerabilities, and take corrective actions to maintain a high standard of safety and security at all times.
Responsibilities for a Quality Control Security Officer:
- Training & Operational Enhancement:
- Conduct on-site training for security officers at various locations, focusing on improving security posture and operational effectiveness.
- Implement and oversee daily operations to enhance officer readiness for diverse security scenarios.
- Assess and improve site-specific security protocols, adapting best practices to each location’s unique needs.
- Performance Evaluation & Reporting:
- Evaluate security officer performance across multiple sites, providing constructive feedback and recommendations for improvement.
- Investigate and document security incidents, preparing detailed reports for management review.
- Analyze security trends across different locations to identify areas for systemic improvement.
- Communication & Liaison:
- Maintain effective communication with security personnel across various sites to address concerns and relay policy updates.
- Serve as a liaison between on-site security teams and management, ensuring consistent implementation of security policies.
- Compliance & Policy Enforcement:
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and relevant industry regulations across all assigned locations.
- Implement and oversee disciplinary actions when necessary, maintaining fairness and consistency in policy enforcement.
- Technology Proficiency:
- Utilize security management software and communication tools to streamline operations, track performance, and enhance reporting capabilities across multiple sites.
- Stay updated on the latest security technologies and implement them as appropriate at different locations.
- Flexible Scheduling & Mobility:
- Maintain a flexible schedule, including overnight and weekend availability, to accommodate the needs of different security sites.
- Travel between various locations to perform quality control checks and provide on-site support and training.
This role focuses on both leadership and operational efficiency, ensuring that security staff are well-prepared, compliant, and effective in maintaining a safe environment.
Qualifications for a Quality Control Security Officer:
- Experience & Certification:
- Required: Extensive prior law enforcement or military experience, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of security protocols and operational procedures.
- Willingness: Must be willing to obtain a Special Police Officer (SPO) certification.
- Skills & Abilities:
- Leadership: Proven ability to lead, train, and mentor security teams across various locations.
- Adaptability: Capability to assess and improve security operations in diverse environments.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written skills for effective interaction with staff and management across multiple sites.
- Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving abilities to address unique security challenges at different locations.
- Knowledge & Expertise:
- In-depth understanding of security best practices, risk management, and emergency response protocols.
- Familiarity with relevant local, state, and federal security regulations.
- Proficiency in using various security equipment and technologies.
- Additional Requirements:
- Flexibility: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Mobility: Possession of a reliable personal vehicle for traveling between different security sites.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional security-related certifications preferred.
