Location: Fargo, ND
Type: Temp to Hire, Full Time
Schedule: 4pm – 12am Monday – Friday
** Must be able to train on first shift
Compensation: $23/hour, excellent benefits
Position Overview:
- Help the Safety Manager coordinate meetings, training meetings etc. of a large staff.
- Promote safe work practices in accordance with federal and state laws and regulations.
- Assist in general administrative duties associated with safety compliance of staff members.
- Support the safety task force, supervisors, team leaders and other team members.
- Complete incident reports to identify source of the problem and help develop solutions to prevent reoccurrence.
Characteristics of a Successful Candidate:
- Effective communication skills and a positive attitude are a must-have!
- Strong public speaking skills are necessary for this position.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience with Microsoft Suite required.
- 3-5 years of safety training experience preferred.
- OSHA 10 Certification preferred.
