Job Title : CPSAI Assessment Counselor

Job Description / Summary
Assessment Counselor conducts substance use assessments with DCPP-referred adults using the CAAPE-5 and LOCI to make recommendations for appropriate level of care. Assessment Counselor conducts clinical interviews and medication reviews, as well as reviews collateral information to make a determination. Assessment Counselor assists client in the referral process to help them successfully engage in treatment.
Responsibilities
- Full-time position 9am to 5pm
- Delivers written assessments to the DCPP in a timely manner
- Conducts urine drug screens
- Communicates with DCPP and community providers
- Thoroughly completes all assigned tasks within prescribed time frames and demonstrates reliability with consistent follow up;
