Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing a welcoming atmosphere at the front desk.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Verify insurance information and assist patients with insurance-related inquiries.
- Fulfilling records request via fax
- Calling, Scheduling and Selecting patients in EMR and Calendar
- Utilize office management software such as Practice Fusion for scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
- Assist in filing and organizing patient documents to ensure easy access to information.
- Provide support in handling patient inquiries, resolving issues, and directing them to appropriate services.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate effective communication regarding patient needs.
- Prior Authorizations as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in behavoiral health and a front desk or office management role within a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in using office software, specifically Eaglesoft and Meditech.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient files and documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
