We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative to join our behavioral health clinic team. This role is essential in providing exceptional service to our patients and ensuring smooth operations at the front desk. Duties
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, providing a welcoming atmosphere at the front desk.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Verify insurance information and assist patients with insurance-related inquiries.
- Fulfilling records request via fax
- Calling, Scheduling and Selecting patients in EMR and Calendar
- Utilize office management software such as Practice Fusion for scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
- Assist in filing and organizing patient documents to ensure easy access to information.
- Provide support in handling patient inquiries, resolving issues, and directing them to appropriate services.
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to facilitate effective communication regarding patient needs.
- Prior Authorizations as needed
Requirements
- Previous experience in behavoiral health and a front desk or office management role within a healthcare setting is preferred.
- Proficiency in using office software, specifically Eaglesoft and Meditech.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient files and documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; bilingual abilities are a plus.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
- A commitment to providing outstanding customer service and supporting patient care initiatives.
