Job Title:
Certified Nursing Assistant
Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide vital support across inpatient and long-term care settings. This role will involve assisting nursing staff with daily care tasks, ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Observe residents' health and report any issues to the supervising nurse
- Assist with personal hygiene, including bed baths, shaving, and other essential tasks
- Set up meal trays and document food/fluid intake
- Feed residents and serve nutritional supplements
- Maintain a clean and tidy living environment for residents
- Transport residents within the facility
- Prevent bedsores by turning bedridden residents
- Ensure confidentiality of resident and facility data
Requirements:
- Previous experience in inpatient settings or long-term care (preferred)
- Basic medical terminology knowledge (essential)
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health challenges (advantageous)
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments, including ICU settings (if required)
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to help others
- State certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) is required
Work Environment:
This role is based in a long-term care setting, such as a nursing home or rehabilitation center.
Compensation and Benefits:
$18.55 - $21.50 per hour
37.50 hours per week
