Licensed Practical Nurses/Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Licensed Practical Nursing License/Registered Nurse License
• Long Term Care Experience (preferred)
  
  

Licensed Practical Nurses/Registered Nurse Duties / Responsibilities

• Admitting new residents
• Helping physicians during rounds of residents' rooms
• Assigning and delegating duties to non-licensed nursing staff
• Monitoring resident care and supervising other nursing staff
• Performing ongoing assessments of residents' physical and mental health
• Explaining procedures and treatment protocols to residents
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
• Monitor and record patient vital signs
• Assist with patient assessments and evaluations
• Provide wound care and dressing changes
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures and self-care techniques- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Licensed Practical Nurses/Registered Nurse Experience*:
• Must be a licensed practical nurse (LPN) / (RN) in the state of {New Jersey
