Preferred Care at Home is looking for a caring, dependable, and skilled individuals to join our team for a memory care client requiring overnight support located in the Charlotte, VT. If you have a passion for helping others and enjoy making a positive difference in people's lives, we want to hear from you! Immediate assignments are available for part time or full time shifts! 32 hours/week currently available Thursday through Sunday.

Compensation: $35/hr
Responsibilities:

Help with general light housekeeping, including cooking meals
- Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family members

Observe and report on each client’s condition

Stay up-to-date with home health aide training, policies and procedures
Requirements:
-
Previous experience as a caregiver, LNA, CNA, or in a care facility is required
- Access to reliable transportation

Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification preferred but not required

Must be able to pass a criminal background check and provide references

Ability to think and work both independently and with direction

Must be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside manner

Knowledge of basic housekeeping
We are looking for caregivers who are compassionate and reliable. No formal training is required. Helpful certifications include: LNA (Licensed Nursing Assistant), CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant), CHHA (Certified Home Health Aide), HHA (Home Health Aide), Care Aides, Nursing Students, PCA (Personal Care Aide), Companion, and Homemaker services.
