Join our team at Preferred Care at Home, a nationally recognized home care company, as a Scheduler/Recruiter.
We're actively seeking a highly motivated individual to grow with our expanding office in the Virginia Beach area.
Your primary responsibility will be to schedule caregivers with clients. Must have excellent customer service as well as computer skills. A working knowledge of home care agencies is preferred but not required. Also, having experience with WellSky or any other scheduling software is preferred.
Additionally, you'll be responsible for recruiting, interviewing, and testing all applicants, while reviewing acceptable applicant qualifications with a client service representative and critical team members. Additionally, you'll conduct new caregiver orientations to foster a positive attitude toward agency goals, obtain new caregiver signatures on necessary documents, and verify licenses for validity with the appropriate licensing body.
Maintaining current and complete personnel records for all field staff employees, including reference and background clearances, is an essential part of this role. You'll also advise management on the appropriate resolution of caregiver relation issues and provide pertinent documentation to client service representatives and other management personnel. Assisting in scheduling caregivers when necessary and performing after-hours on-call responsibilities are also a part of this exciting position.
