Preferred Care at Home of Brevard, a nationwide senior care company, is seeking qualified caregivers in the Viera Rockledge area. We have 12 hour daytime/overnight shifts for cases with flexible start dates and competitive pay structures.

Salary and Benefits

Job Responsibilities
- Provide personal care for clients, including bathing, dressing, serving meals, and assisting with daily activities.
- Take vital signs and examine clients for bruises, blood in urine, or other injuries/wounds.
- Collect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors, and family members.
- Lift clients into beds, wheelchairs, exam tables, etc., and stay up-to-date on CNA training, policies, and procedures.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Completion of a state-approved CNA certification training course.
- Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification.
- Ability to think and work independently and with direction.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced and sometimes stressful environment.
- Good communication skills and bedside manner with a compassionate personality.
- Up-to-date identification and basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- CNA certification (Certified Nursing Assistant).
- CHHA (Certified Home Health Aide) or HHA (Home Health Aide) licensure.
