The Registered Nurse Supervisor must have strong clinical and supervisory skills, as well as previous long term care experience. They should have attention to detail, a positive attitude, good follow through skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with Nursing Staff to provide excellent clinical care and demonstrate a willingness to assist others.
Duties:
- Administer, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of nursing care delivery.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure timely order compliance.
- Conduct unit rounds to ensure clinical practices meet facility standards of care.
- Maintain standards of care in accordance with regulatory agencies.
Requirements:
- Current Registered Nurse License.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team, managing multiple tasks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Courteous and professional demeanor with high tolerance for pressure and critical situations.
- Effective communication with diverse workforce and clientele through sound business decisions, diplomacy, and discretion.
