Job Overview
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) Supervisor to join our team. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing nurses and aides, working closely with the Director of Nurses and Assistant Director, and ensuring high-quality resident care.
Responsibilities
- Supervise nurses and aides to ensure proper care and documentation
- Collaborate with the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director to implement changes and improve resident outcomes
- Monitor resident care and report any concerns or issues to the Director of Nursing or Assistant Director
- Assess newly admitted or readmitted residents and document their care in the 24-hour report
- Liaise between nursing staff and attending physicians to ensure accurate and timely communication
- Ensure all supplies and equipment are properly stocked and functioning
Requirements
- 1 year of experience in long-term care as a Registered Nurse (RN)
- NJ Registered Nurse License
- 1 year of experience in nursing
- 1 year of experience as an RN Supervisor
- RN - Registered Nurse license
