- Supervise and coordinate nursing staff activities to ensure optimal patient care.
- Conduct assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients, particularly those with complex needs such as dementia.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including procedures such as sutures and spinal taps.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes in critical care settings.
- Provide mentorship and training to nursing staff, fostering professional development and best practices in patient care.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
- Current nursing license (RN) in the *state of New Jersey*.
- Proven experience in a Skilled nursing facility setting
- Strong clinical skills with proficiency in patient care management and emergency response.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as PCC
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to lead effectively under pressure.
