Social Worker, Per Diem

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support and assistance to individuals and families facing various challenges. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic services to promote mental health and well-being. The Social Worker will work collaboratively with clients to facilitate positive change and enhance their quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive case management for clients, ensuring their needs are met through appropriate resources and services.
• Perform diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health status and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Provide behavioral therapy and clinical counseling to individuals, groups, or families, focusing on coping strategies and emotional support.
• Facilitate individual and group counseling sessions, fostering a safe environment for clients to express their feelings and experiences.
• Utilize Christian counseling principles when appropriate, integrating faith-based approaches into therapeutic practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Stay informed about medical terminology relevant to behavioral health to effectively communicate with healthcare professionals.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and ensure comprehensive support for clients.

Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as a Social Worker (LCSW or equivalent) is preferred.
• Proven experience in case management, diagnostic evaluation, and behavioral therapy is highly desirable.
• Strong clinical counseling skills with the ability to engage clients in meaningful therapeutic relationships.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to empathize with diverse populations.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay: From $65.92 per hour
