Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dietary Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that residents receive nutritious and appealing meals in a clean and safe environment. This position is essential in supporting the dietary needs of individuals in a hospital, nursing home, or assisted living facility. The Dietary Aide will assist with meal preparation, food production, and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and serving of meals according to dietary guidelines and resident preferences.
• Ensure that all food items are stored, prepared, and served in compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Buss tables and clean dining areas after meals to maintain a hygienic environment.
• Help with the setup and breakdown of dining services for each meal.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service.
• Maintain proper inventory of food supplies and report any shortages to management.
• Adhere to time management practices to ensure timely meal service.
• Follow all safety protocols while handling kitchen equipment and food items.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Previous experience in the food industry or as a Dietary Aide is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and food production processes.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment within a hospital or assisted living setting.
• Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy meal periods.
• Commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in accordance with health regulations.
• Excellent communication skills to interact positively with residents, staff, and visitors.
• Must be able to perform physical tasks such as lifting, standing for extended periods, and moving equipment as needed.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
