Preferred Care at Home of Tucson is seeking compassionate and dedicated AZ State Certified Direct Care Workers to provide personal care services for our senior clients in the greater Tucson area. This is a variable hour, hourly pay, in home position. As a DCW, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our clients by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their well-being.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding.
- Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities.
- Assist with housekeeping tasks, including laundry and light cleaning.
- Ensure the safety and security of clients at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role: minimum of 1 year required
- Certification in CPR and First Aid or ability to obtain it (we can provide at no cost)
- Current TB test with negative result or ability to obtain it (we can provide at no cost)
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with elderly clients.
- Current State of AZ DCW certification
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, such as lifting and assisting residents with mobility.
- Applicants that are 21 years or older

Bonus Details
New employee's who are actively working shifts will receive a $500 bonus after 5 months of employment.
