Description of the role
Preferred Care Home of Tucson is currently looking for dependable and compassionate caregivers to join our team. As a caregiver, you will be responsible for providing assistance and support to our clients, helping them with daily activities and ensuring their well-being.
Providing in home services to- Mount Lemmon, Tucson, Arizona City, Coolidge, Eloy, Florence, Picacho, Red Rock, Valley Farms, Casa Grande, Mammoth, Oracle, San Manuel, Marana, Vail, Arivaca, Elgin, Fort Huachuca, Green Valley, Huachuca City, Nogales, Patagonia, Saint David, Sasabe, Sonoita, Amado, Tubac, Rio Rico, Sahuarita and the rest of Southern Arizona!
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding.
- Provide companionship and engage residents in meaningful activities.
- Assist with housekeeping tasks, including laundry and light cleaning.
- Ensure the safety and security of clients at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a caregiver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid.
- Ability to effectively communicate and interact with elderly clients.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable.
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, such as lifting and assisting residents with mobility.
