Job Title: Vice President - Division Controller
Location: Remote
Reports To: Chief Administrative Officer
This is a position that is expected to last 4 - 6 months, but could turn into a permanent position.
Job Overview: This pivotal role involves managing the record-to-report function of a business unit and leading a diverse team of 15 to 20 professionals. The Division Controller will ensure financial integrity, fiscal responsibility, compliance, and strategic alignment with company objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Financial Management:
- Oversee all accounting operations, including general ledger, cost accounting, and revenue recognition. Partner with peers in the areas of billing and accounts receivable/payable, and other related areas to ensure the division leaders have full visibility into the finances of their units.
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with GAAP and company standards.

Team Leadership:
- Lead, mentor, and develop a finance team of 15 to 20 members, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Manage the work of offshore resources, ensuring seamless integration and collaboration with onshore teams.
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities.

Strategic Planning:
- Collaborate with senior management to develop financial strategies and budgets that align with company goals.
- Provide insightful financial analysis and recommendations to support decision-making processes.
- Monitor financial performance against budgets and forecasts, identifying variances and implementing corrective actions as needed.

Internal Controls and Compliance:
- Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure financial data accuracy.
- Coordinate and lead external audits, ensuring timely and accurate information is provided to auditors.
- Stay abreast of changes in financial regulations and standards, ensuring the company remains compliant.

- In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting processes.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems; experience with NetSuite is a plus.
