What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teller Part-time SUMMER ONLY position at Preferred Credit Union?
Preferred Credit Union is seeking a service-oriented, dynamic individual to assist credit union members with their financial needs this summer. To be successful in this position you will need previous cash handling experience, and customer service or sales experience. Essential job responsibilities include handling deposits efficiently and accurately, verifying and cashing checks, and receiving/delivering/processing of loan payments. A Financial Service Specialist/Teller needs strong interpersonal skills, a team player attitude, and lots of enthusiasm to excel in this position. Additional skills include exceptional oral and written communication, as well as computer skills. In this position, the weekly schedule may include daily shifts Monday thru Friday with some Saturday hours.
- Previous cash handling experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building and maintaining relationships
- Proficiency in basic math and financial transactions
