**Substance Use Disorder Counselor Role**
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Substance Use Disorder Counselor to join our Recovery Services team at Preferred Family Health Care. As a counselor, you will play a vital role in helping individuals, families, and couples overcome mental health challenges and achieve their goals.
About the Role:
- Provide individual, group, family, and other types of counseling to meet clients' needs and treatment goals.
- Complete comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans based on state regulatory standards.
- Participate in clinical staffing meetings, provide feedback, and work closely with internal departments to ensure authorized services are approved.
- Document all services provided according to state regulations, correct any file/charting deficiencies, and assist clients through the transition process.
- Maintain positive relationships with referral sources, clients, and coworkers while adhering to our Code of Ethics and agency policies.
Requirements:
- A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- Licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- Comfortable providing telehealth services (training will be provided) and willingness to become licensed in additional states.
