About the Job
This is an exciting opportunity for a Cardiac Sonography Expert to work in Port Angeles, Washington, utilizing ultrasound devices and imaging tools to acquire diagnostic images of the heart.
As a Traveling Echocardiogram Technician, you will be responsible for preparing patients for echocardiograms, operating diagnostic equipment, and assisting physicians in interpreting results.
- Evaluate different aspects of the heart
- Recognize and identify common cardiac abnormalities
The ideal candidate will have 2 years of echocardiography experience within the last 5 years and be certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI).
Job Responsibilities:
- Spread ultrasound gel on the surface of patient's chest in preparation for imaging.
- Perform echocardiograms to evaluate different aspects of the heart, such as chamber size, valve function, and blood flow.
