Preferred Home Care of New York, a fully licensed Home Care Agency serving the NY Metropolitan area including Nassau, Suffolk and Westchester counties, is seeking a App Assistant Coordinator for our Brooklyn Corporate Office. This person should be extremely organized, with great customer service skills
POSITION SUMMARY:
A Visit Verification Specialist performs a wide range of clerical functions and administrative duties specifically related to patient services, including areas such as the service verification, communication and data entry. A Visit Verification Specialist serves as the point of contact for patients and caregivers. They ensure patients are getting the services offered to them and help verify patient information. In addition, they help caregivers collect payments, assist with necessary paperwork, and fulfill other customer service or administrative duties.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school graduate or equivalent with GED
- Investigative ability, highly organized, self-motivated, takes initiative, excellent written and verbal communication and analytical critical thinking skills; able to perform without much supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Great organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
