Job description
Tax and accounting firm in Hobart is looking to hire a professional, highly motivated individual to work the reception desk and support the accounting team for this coming tax season. This position is part–time, evening shifts and Saturday shifts, for the duration of the tax season. Will be required to answer high call-volume multi-line phone system, schedule client appointments and confirm existing appointments, data entry, and billing related tasks.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Invoicing clients using Instant Invoice software and collection of payments
- Answer phones, transfer calls and welcome guests
- Making, rescheduling, and confirming client appointments
- Make copies, scanning, emailing, faxing, and filing documents
- Send postal and/or courier mails, as needed
- Provide administrative and clerical support to staff as needed
- Perform all other office tasks such as making coffee, and light housekeeping at the end of the day
Qualifications:
- High School Graduate
- Previous experience in office administration or reception
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
