Inside Sales Representative – Competitive, Goal-Oriented, and Driven

Compensation:$17.00 hourly

Hello from Preferred Pest Control, we are looking for an Inside Sales Representative who is competitive, goal-driven and loves the thrill of closing deals. What You’ll Do:
- Generate leads through inbound and outbound calls, emails, and online inquiries
- Follow up with leads and quotes to convert prospects into customers
- Educate customers on our pest control services, pricing, and treatment options
- Engage with potential customers to create tailored solutions for their specific needs
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of pest control services, pest identification, treatment regulations, and industry trends
- Stay informed on competitive offerings and industry innovations
- Participate in ongoing sales training and professional development to continuously enhance skills
- Collaborate with the Marketing Team to execute sales campaigns and promotions
- Strive to exceed sales targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Track and manage customer interactions and sales activities in our CRM system
- Resolve customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and professionally
- Schedule appointments for field technicians and provide customers with service details
- Work with field technicians to identify upsell opportunities and service enhancements
- Monitor abandoned website inquiries and incomplete bookings, following up to secure conversions
- Assist with billing and payment collection for booked services
- Produce weekly sales reports to track performance and conversions
- Participate in customer retention initiatives, including loyalty programs or service renewals
- Assist with keeping your assigned office area organized to support a streamlined, efficient workspace
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience in inside sales, preferably in pest control or a related industry
- Strong sales and negotiation skills, a history of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (phone, email, text)
- Familiar with CRM systems, Google Docs, Smarter Launch, and other sales tools
- Customer-focused mindset – Ability to handle objections and provide solutions that convert prospects into customers
- Organized with excellent attention to detail to track leads and manage follow-ups
- Self-starter – Able to work independently, and take initiative
- Competitive & goal-oriented – A strong desire to exceed targets and outperform expectations
- High school diploma or equivalent - a college degree is preferred but not required
Bonus Points (Not Required, But a Plus!):
- Experience in pest control, home services, or a related industry
- Knowledge of Google Productivity Tools, and CSR software
- Experience with inbound sales, account management, or customer retention
