1st Shift
Primary Responsibilities
Assist the Quality Manager with daily departmental performance monitoring.
Assist Quality Technicians and Auditors with in-process and final inspection activities, including documentation of results.
Ensure Quality Dept Technicians and Auditors are following daily audit schedules.
Perform employee training of quality requirements (product and process) in all departments, as applicable.
Assist the Quality Manager with document control activities.
Assist the Quality Manager with audit planning and execution (process, safety, ISO), as appropriate.
Complete applicable shift reports in a timely manner.
Assist the Quality Manager with gage calibration activities, as directed.
Monitor and record nonconforming products and processes.
Maintain a respectful relationship with co-workers and supervisors.
Arrive to work on time and correctly uniformed.
Qualifications and Requirements
Prior experience or knowledge of ISO 9001 standards preferred.
Working knowledge of measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers, etc.), including basic calibration.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift between 25 and 50 lbs on a regular basis.
Possess above average knowledge of computer (Excel, Word, Google Sheets) and mobile device operation.
Prior experience as a quality auditor, technician or team leader preferred.
Possess excellent communication and leadership skills, including coaching and mentoring.
Able to trouble shoot and problem solve quality issues in all departments.
Prior history of an above average attendance record.
Able to meet the E-Verify requirements to work in the USA.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
