Mortuary Transport Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking compassionate and reliable Mortuary Transport professionals to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be responsible for the respectful and timely transportation of deceased individuals to various locations, including funeral homes, hospitals and medical examiner facilities. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain professionalism in sensitive situations is essential. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle heavy lifting.

Duties

• Safely and respectfully transport deceased individuals using company vehicles.
• Communicate with funeral home staff, hospitals, and families to coordinate transportation logistics.
• Ensure that all vehicles are maintained in clean and operational condition.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations during transport.
• Assist with heavy lifting as needed when loading and unloading.
• Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining sensitivity to the needs of grieving families.
• Complete necessary documentation accurately and promptly.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Experience in shuttle driving, delivery driving, or limousine services is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required for transporting individuals.
• Experience in paratransit or school bus driving is a plus.
• Must be able to maintain professionalism in challenging situations.
• A background in healthcare or related fields may be beneficial but is not required.
